The visitors - Les visiteurs (1993)

Les Visiteurs has become a classic: a mix of medieval and modern times France. A clever and very funny satire of French society.
You can compare it with the US remake, Just visiting that takes place in the US instead of France (much less funny in my opinion and not within the KRL system).

The Chorus, Les Choristes (2004)

Les Choristes blends a good story about a dedicated teacher who creates a choir with excellent music.

The girl from Paris - Une hirondelle a fait le printemps (2001)

The story of a city girl (from Paris) who wants to become a farmer.

Être et avoir, To be and to have (2002)

I start with this film by Cédric Philibert, Être et avoir (2002). This is a wonderful film about a class in rural France.
